Nathan grew up determined to escape his circumstances — a drive that carried him into the Marine Corps and eventually to Camp David, where he served and earned the Presidential Service Badge. That journey is the story behind his memoir, Escape Plan.

 

After the Marine Corps, Nathan built a dual-franchise business from the ground up and sold it for a profit — the hands-on experience behind his business series, After You Buy the Franchise, written for owners navigating the same ground he once did.

 

Today he works as a business consultant, flies as a certified drone pilot, and still carries the Marine Corps with him in everything he does.

 

He lives in Southern Missouri with his wife, Jennifer, and their youngest son — proud parents of grown kids building lives of their own, and prouder grandparents.
